The fight against cancer inequities requires a powerful blend of cutting-edge technology, regional collaboration, and community-driven insights. Recently, the TRACE project was present at the IEEE BalkanCom 2026 conference to discuss exactly how we are making this happen.

Representing the project, our partner Tatjana Loncar-Turukalo, Faculty of Technical Sciences University of Novi Sad, participated in an panel discussion titled “Establishing a Regional Partnership in AI-driven Healthcare Research.” The session provided the stage to present TRACE’s core mission and share the TRACE Platform.

The presentation delved into how the platform will securely handle data, foster cross-border collaboration, and empower regional partners with actionable insights to drive localized cancer prevention campaigns. Additionally, it highlighted our upcoming Open Calls, which will fund and support the development of next-generation, AI-driven healthcare solutions tailored to tackle cancer care disparities in our target regions.
