This cascade funding opportunity is designed to support industry and healthcare providers in developing sustainable, evidence-based solutions that address regional gaps in cancer prevention and care.

The Open Call seeks innovative projects that respond to the specific cancer-related needs and challenges identified within each ecosystem. At a high level, the funded projects will address:
Poland
Translating reliable cancer knowledge into accessible and trustworthy digital tools.
Use responsible conversational AI Agents to transform dispersed and complex breast cancer screening information into accessible, reliable and user-centred knowledge (in English and Polish), improving cancer literacy and supporting informed participation in screening.
Portugal
Translating evidence into equitable cancer prevention and early detection.
Support innovative approaches to cancer-related health promotion, prevention, early detection and screening, and to improving the quality of life and wellbeing of people affected by cancer, with particular attention to health inequalities, health literacy, equitable access and underserved populations.
Serbia
Translating knowledge and technology into accessible and efficient cancer-screening pathways.
Support transdisciplinary solutions that improve awareness, access and participation in cancer screening while strengthening screening organisation and healthcare workflows, particularly for geographically and socially underserved populations.
Who can apply?
We are looking for European based applicants capable of developing and implementing innovative, evidence-based solutions that address the specific cancer-related challenges and needs identified within the Portuguese, Polish and Serbian ecosystems.
